Safety Stride Crystalline is a 100% Australian-made product ex. Sydney.
For added protection, all Crystalline products are supplied with a 15 micron clear anodised finish unless another metal finish is requested.

This product is wide enough to cover the stair nosing & part of the stair tread. The nosing and tread portions of the profile can be created in different colours, enabling a striking contrast within the design itself. Popular combinations include yellow/black, red/black and luminous/black.

When specifying any of our Crystalline range please by mindful of the following factors. Stair nosings and stair treads receive a considerable amount of foot traffic on a regular basis. To cater for this traffic, the Crystalline range are highly non-slip in nature. For a surface to be highly non-slip and hard wearing it must comprise of a mineral textured surface. These surfaces act as a cleaning mechanism for traveler's shoes, picking-up dirt and debris on a daily basis. When installed outdoors, much of this debris is automatically cleaned by rainfall or can be pressure washed along with general houskeeping. However, when installed indoors, cleaning must be carried out more carefully to avoid wetting surrounding carpets etc. Safety Stride Tread-Clean is a water-based cleaning product that can assist in this task.
When specifing Crystalline nosings and treads indoors, recommended colours include safety red, green, electric blue, dark grey and black.
In indoor environments and when ease of cleaning is paramount, we recommend the Polyline range of stair nosings and treads.
