OVERVIEW
- TRAKA insert is a specially manufactured epoxy resin / aluminium oxide composite material suitable for the highest traffic internal and external stairs
- Applications include: feature stairs to commercial buildings, libraries, hospitals, railways stations, stadiums and other stairs that receive traffic of 1000+ pedestrians per day
- TRAKA insert is supplied separately and once fixed to the G Series base profile, conceals all fixings from view
- Please note: this product does not conform to AS 1428.1:2021 since it has a 30mm front return. If you require a profile that has been designed in accordance with AS 1428.1:2021, please consider the S Series with TRAKA insert.
- The G Series profile is designed for surface-mount/retro-fit installations
- The aluminium is CLEAR ANODISED
- Installed with a combination of adhesive and screws, this product offers trouble free performance in even the harshest external environments

DETAILS
- Designed for surface mount / retro-fit applications on existing stair treads
- Suitable for use on raked, square and bull nosed stair edges
- CLEAR anodised aluminium profile and BLACK insert provide contrast over light coloured substrates as per AS1428.1 (LRV tests available)
- Supplied with wear-resistant, internal/external rated slip resistant insert with self-adhesive backing for straight forward installation
- Concealed fixings - first the extrusion is fixed to the substrate by way of screws and adhesive and then the self-adhesive insert is fixed to the extrusion
- UV stabilised materials for a long trouble-free service life
- Australian manufactured aluminium extrusion
SCOPE OF SUPPLY
- Anodised aluminium stair nosing extrusion with abrasive insert on a self-adhesive roll
- If 'cut to size' option is selected; aluminium will be supplied cut to the sizes specified in the 'Aluminium Stair Nosing Cutting List' on this page
- If 'pre-drill' option is selected; aluminium will be supplied with countersunk holes pre-drilled at approximately 300mm centres and will also come with the appropriate fixings for the nominated substrate type
